Ashley was a pleasure to work with! I had an initial consultation with her and she brought an assortment of samples with her. She even complimented my old house and agreed that the old flooring although original and beautiful, had seen better days. She was very patient with me when it came to the scheduling and suggested financing options. The installers were very polite and helped me move the larger furniture. It took them 3 days to install the floor over my original one which I thought was a long time for a house of 604 sq footage but Julian and Kyle explained that there was a lot of prep work as my floor was very uneven. I was not prepared for the rain and Julian lent me a tarp. Kyle came to check in on the work every day and came by after completion to make sure I was happy with the job. My floors are beautiful and I am so glad I did this even though my dog and I had to move out for 3 days! Now I just need a lick of paint on the walls and a new carpet! Thank you Ashley and team! Stellar work!

We had a fantastic experience working with everyone at Floor Coverings International. I had an urgent need for new carpet with a very tight timeline and they came through! Kyle stayed in constant communication with me about the status of the shipment and proactively scheduled the installation team so we were ready to install as soon as it arrived in LA. I can’t recommend Chris and his team enough!!

It's actually pretty simple to be a great company. Be fair. Be friendly. Be honest. Be helpful. Price is important, but it is worth it to work with a team that has your best interest in mind. Our own customers are the hardest to please - they are church folk. And church folk have a lot of opinions. Ashley and the team at International Floor Coverings Long Beach hit every mark and beyond. I was keen on working with a local-run business to replace our stone tiling with luxury vinyl flooring. I was absolutely clear with FCI that any change orders or deviation from the original quote had to be as limited as possible (less than 5-10%) and only for unforeseen circumstances. So I was not happy when, after demolition, we were asked for an $800 change order (~20% of the original price). A major part was undercutting the fireplace, which had already been discussed and wasn't unforeseen. On my end, I should have ensured it was an explicit line item rather than relying on verbal confirmation. That said, the installers -- Uriel, Danny and Julio -- did a fabulous job despite not being told in advance by the owner that it was a stone tile demolition. It was a tough job. We love our new floors and are happy with the installation, but better communication and transparency would have made this an even better deal!
